About

Behind My Smile is a non-profit organization that provides free dental care to children in need. We are a team of volunteers who are passionate about helping children smile.

Too many of us hide our struggles—and even our wins—behind smiles that mask our true selves. Having faced the world’s scrutiny, Behind My Smile creates a powerful connection between young women and queens, both crowned beauty queens and the strong, brilliant women we see every day, walking in their purpose and making a difference, to offer real guidance, resources, and community support.

Led by Sihlé Letren, this is a holistic social impact program focused on transforming lives. Young women can register their interest via our submission portal on our website. From there, they’ll receive exclusive invitations to workshops, virtual sessions, and eventually be paired with a mentor for a 9-month mentorship journey.

Our program tackles a host of vital topics, including mental health, financial management, confidence building, critical thinking, fitness, wellness, nutrition, academic counselling, and so much more.
